Elscint recently completed an order for a total of thirteen vibratory bowl feeders from a reputed manufacturer. The customer has his own moulding machines as well as assembly equipment for assembling of caps with various parts. As the assembly was mostly manual, he was interested in automating the same. The assembly equipment was manufactured in-house and he approached Elscint for vibratory bowl feeders. All the bowl feeders required were high speed (80 parts per minute per row in two rows per bowl feeder). The parts to be fed were various items which go in manufacturing a cap and plug (4 parts). There were two sets of each of these and then 5 sets were required for the assembled part.
Elscint completed the order in record time and ensured proper orientation without the use of air as well as ensuring that proper overflow arrangement was provided for each bowl feeder.
