Elscint, the leading vibratory part feeder manufacturer from India recently supplied a vibratory bowl feeder for feeding of small glass fuse. The diameter of the same was 3 mm and length 12 mm. One side was bent and orientation was required to be made with the bent side forward and on one side. The dimensions of the part were such that they would overlap on each other and get jammed. Hence, Elscint used its Model 160 model and did the orientation in a special way whereby all these problems were resolved. As against the requirement of 50 parts per minute, Elscint could achieve a speed of above 75 pcs per minute. The bowl feeder was completed in record time and dispatched to the customers address in North India.
