Visit of Flame University MBA students to Elscint

Recently, Flame University arranged a visit of its MBA students to Elscint. The purpose of the visit was for the students to get an understanding in the following areas –
1. HR
2. Marketing
3. Sales
4. Operations
5. Finance
A total of 10 students and their professor, Ms. Khyati Jagani visited and spent time to understand the working of the company. Project engineer Akshay showed the students the working of the various equipment and the projects going on, on the shopfloor and explained the operations aspects of the company. Then the HR function was explained by Dipak. Thereafter, Managing Director, Mr. Monish Shete explained the marketing & sales function of the company and how it is targeting export markets and its plans to grow in the future.
Elscint encourages such visits by students of reputed institutes as part of its CSR activities. This results in industrial exposure to Students and Faculty to study and understand industry processes.
For Elscint the major benefit would be the knowledge sharing and development of its employees as well as inculcating innovative thinking in them.
