Linear Vibrator with Silo for Ceramic Powder

Elscint has developed a special system with a hopper and linear vibrator for feeding and dispensing of powder into glass fuses. Elscint provided a 35 ltr. silo for accumulating the powder along with dropping it with a controlled movement into the glass fuses at two places. The glass fuses moved forward on a linear vibrator of 800 mm length. After a travel of 400 mm, the powder trickled down on the fuse below. Then the glass fuse travelled further 400 mm forward. During this travel, the powder settled down due to vibrations of the linear vibrator. Afterwards, the last glass fuse was again kept below an opening in the silo so that further powder dropped down. Thereafter, the glass fuse was removed manually by the operator. Elscint provided a stand for this complete equipment and supplied the system along with a control unit.
