Elscint recently manufactured and supplied a 2 outlet bowl feeder to Romania. The part to be fed was a metal insert having dia 6 mm x 12.5 mm length. One end was having a smaller diameter (dia 4 mm) and the requirement was to get the smaller side forward. As the number of outlets were 2, Elscint used Model 250 EV with a 500 mm diameter cast aluminium bowl, coated with Elscinthane PU coating. The bowl track width was 30 mm and the parts were then taken forward in a tube. As there were 2 outlets, it was imperative that proper overflow arrangement was provided for each outlet. Further, flexible see through transparent tubes, each having length of 2 mtrs. were attached to each outlet. The bowl feeder was shipped to Romania by air freight. Elscint provided sensors on each of the two outlets so that in case both of them got full, the bowl feeder was switched off, thus reducing noise and energy consumption.
