Elscint recently completed a set of 2 bowl feeders for feeding of plastic rivets clips. The rivets were to be fed in four outlets at a centre distance of 50 mm from each other. Elscint recommended Model 250 EV bowl for feeding of the rivets with two outlets each, thus using two bowl feeders. The speed required was 80 rivets per minute per outlet. Thereafter the rivets were to be carried forward on a single linear vibrator with 4 tracks. As there were 2 tracks per bowl, proper overflow arrangement was required, which was provided with airjets. Sensors were placed on all the 4 tracks to ensure that once both the tracks are full, the respective bowl feeders were stopped.
