The requirement was to feed the same in a single orientation at a very high speed. In a pump, both ends have protrusions and usually the parts come in 50-50 orientation. Due to this, getting such a high speed is not easy. However, Elscint took up the challenge and completed the same. The pumps were taken in two rows and then converged into a single one, thus ensuring a high speed. Converging of two rows into a single one too is difficult for parts like the pump and hence, this was a challenge which too was achieved. Ahead of the bowl feeder, a 800 mm linear track was used to ensure that a sufficient buffer while feeding at a high speed.
