The customer already had an elevator feeder for bulk loading of the parts and did not want a vibratory bowl feeder as it would have consumed a lot of space. Hence, Elscint provided a linear vibrator with changeover track. One track was for a single component while another was for 5 different components. The requirement was to orient the parts with the head forward. The same was done on the linear track and fed to the tubular chute of the customer. Elscint supplied the linear vibratory feeder with a control unit to the customer within 4 days.
