Elscint recently manufactured a blow feed system for feeding of Allen bolts having size M6 x 16 mm length. The scope consisted of a vibratory bowl feeder, pneumatic escapement and blow feed mechanism. Vibratory bowl feeder Model 250 with a cast aluminium bowl was used. The bowl was coate4d with Elscinthane PU coating and the tooling was in stainless steel. Once the bolts were fed through the bowl feeder, they were singulated, one by one and then air blown forward in a tube, upto 3 meters to the position required by the customer. Elscint provided the complete equipment including the electrical controls for the equipment.
