Feeding of glass tubes in a vibratory bowl feeder

Elscint, the leading vibratory bowl feeder manufacturer from India recently supplied a vibratory bowl feeder for feeding of small glass tubes. The diameter of the same was 2.5 mm and length 10 mm. The parts being very light, would not move by themselves. This required a special vibratory bowl feeder with strong vibrations to ensure that they move forward by themselves. Hence, Elscint used its Model 160 model for this application.

A total of 2 outlets were required with a centre distance of 100 mm. The bowl was having diameter of just 260 mm and hence providing such a centre distance was a challenge. The output was provided in transparent tubes of suitable size. As against the requirement of 60 parts per minute per row, Elscint could achieve a speed of above 250 pcs per minute per row. Additionally, overflow was provided to ensure easy and smooth running of the vibratory bowl feeder. The bowl feeder was completed in record time and dispatched to the customers address in North India.
