Elscint Vibratory Bowl Feeder for thin silver contacts

Elscint, recently manufactured two vibratory bowl feeders form for feeding of thin silver contacts. The size of the silver contacts was from 4 mm x 3.2 mm to 5 mm x 5 mm and the thickness was only 1 mm. Some parts were round in shape and the thickness too varied upto 2 mm. The feed rate required was 300 pcs per minute. Hence, Elscint used its Model 160 for feeding of these parts. One bowl feeder was of clockwise direction and another in anti-clockwise direction. The customer wanted to ensure that the parts do not discolour or become dirty. Hence, Elscinthane PU coating of green colour was applied on the bowl surface. This further improved the feed rate of the bowl feeder. Against the requirement of 300 parts per minute, Elscint could achieve a feed rate of 450 parts per minute.
