Elscint recently manufactured and supplied a vibratory feeder for testing of instrument panels of two wheelers. The requirement for testing of the indication panel wherein the panel is vibrated, to simulate the movement of the two wheeler on roads. The requirement being that in case there was any dry solder or any loose connection, the same would be found out in the testing process itself. Multiple panels needed to be tested at the same time. Hence, Elscint suggested its model 250 on which a fixture was mounted to accommodate 3 panels. Quick clamps were provided for easy placement and removal of the panels from the vibrator. The customer required a certain amount of G values to be measured for this application. Elscint provided the complete set up and even tested a few panels for the customer.
